If not for the talking animals in Wonderland, there is only one reason you fuzzballs should watch it :
Don't be mistaken. Although all the images depict Cheshire as Tim-Burton-ishly-terrifying, its still a very Tim-Burton-ish-lovable character. Stephen Fry with his famed smooth Broadway-honed British English gives the iconic character the depth, sophistication and suaveness expected of a master trickster of Wonderland. Think they would make a plush version of him ?!?
He's a far cry from Disney's original mischievous sometimes-teeth-grindingly-annoying feline joker
Too bad that the entire movie doesn't entirely keep up with the maturity of this character. Although there were many parts that did follow this theme, there were few parts that left most of the film giving a confusion if the film was still meant for a new generation of kids, or for the grown ups who grew up with the original animated version.
And interestingly, there was surprisingly much more gore and violence for a Disney film. There is blood in the film too (albeit a few drops)

I have been wondering about this issue ever since I was 16 years old. The year I was suppose to choose my Diploma for my Polytechnic. I have been drawing ever since 13 and was just wondering whether would it matter if I have an art degree or diploma?

As many have known, I am currently chasing a Diploma in Civil Engineering but still drawing and improving when I have the time and freedom to do so. Only wondering whether it would make any difference when in the working world.

Or is it just worth it to chase other stuff you are passionate about and can secure you a job better than being an artist? Not saying that an artist have low wages but isn't it still the same if I self-teach myself only it takes more effort and more amount of time to practise and improve?

Just a thought to all the artists out here on AA.

Others are welcome to share too. :3

But at the beginning of the month it became apparent that she would die soon and was too ill to be moved to a theater to see the film. Colby had been diagnosed with vascular cancer about three years ago after doctors found a tumor in her liver. At the time of her death, her stomach was about 94 inches around, swollen with fluids the cancer wouldn’t let her body properly digest.

After a family friend made frantic calls to Pixar to help grant Colby her dying wish, Pixar came to the rescue.

The company flew an employee with a DVD of Up, which is only in theaters, to the Curtins’ Huntington Beach home for a private viewing of the movie.

He had a bag of stuffed animals of characters in the movie and a movie poster. He shared some quirky background details of the movie and the group settled in to watch Up.

Colby couldn't see the screen because the pain kept her eyes closed so her mother gave her a play-by-play of the film.

At the end of the film, the mother asked if her daughter enjoyed the movie and Colby nodded yes, Lisa Curtin said.

Colby passed away about seven hours after watching the film.

This is not meant to show who's better than what, but because I cannot buy Apple / Mac to know how to live with it, I prefer YOU users write it down here. You can praise your Mac, or you can rant about it instead (computers have their own Bad Hair Day too, you know ) , or anything about your beloved Apple/Mac. This is thread not meant to be insulting other OS! if you wanna insult, insult YOUR own computer!

Or else, you PC user can talk about it too. But remember, it's about your OWN computer! No comparing saying what OS is better! I REALLY have my eyes on certain people who keeps screaming " --put brand here-- OS is BETTER!!".

Hopefully, I could get an inspiration to continue the comic. That's actually my intention.

Sample:
Quote:Have been installing and reinstalling Belladonna AGAIN(my PC). Sometimes I get tired of this routine of reinstalling things. Some saved installer have been identified as viruses by the new Antivirus and no matter how powerful the antivirus it would never solve the problem of the scythe of BSoD. In the bright side, I'm addicted to the new emulator my friend gave me. God bless the creator ♥

And the analog sticks are BS because either I choose for the analog button OR the D-pad button mode. I can't use them both. EGH!

Dammit.

Feel free to say anything about your own computers. If you want to discuss about the problem with details, please use PM. Thanks in advance ♫

I'm a PC user, and more or less, I know what good or not of my PC. That's why now I might need the point of view of Mac/Apple user in (if possible) Daily Basis. Just say it's some kind of ... researching {=3

Last post and update for the year.

That's right its my last post for this year. For those who want an explanation, I'll make this brief. As of now, I have 7 internet blogs where I post updates/pages and read messages. I know it's not a lot, as some of you will say "Well I have 10 or 20 or 100 blogs!". To each is to his own, but I have decided to concentrate on only 1. Two actually, and that's the Comic Genesis site where I post the LXF comics and FA.

Now why only those two? and what will happen to the rest?

First of all, as I said, CG to put the comics, and starting now, I will make use of the forum section to discuss each page and read each comment. As for FA, well don't get me wrong. LJ was my first and I've made a lot of new friends here, It's just that FA is much more closer to home for me so to speak. Most of the Filipino furries have FA accounts, with DA being Second and only a few with LJ accounts.

If you also notice, I don't post as much here as I use to.

So what's gonna happen to my other blogs and journal? I'll leave it as it is. Who knows, I might come back here someday.

I know there are Filipino furries here, but not as concentrated as in FA. and this is really more a forum than a personal blog.

I do hope you understand. I just want to simplify my life, one blog is enough.

With all that said and done, I'll be concentrate more in posting journals on FA and putting up the comic on CG.

My FA account: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/wyntherknight/
