Screw the government. Declared the whole movement illegal, what a bunch of crap. Then deployed riot police, acted out as if people are going to fight. All they wanted is to have a place, and the government keeps on denying their right. I wondered what happened to the Melawati Stadium deal, not much reports on that. Bersih may have acted strong-headed and perhaps sensationalistic in that regard (the show must go on 709), but I overall support the movement.

Most of the violence can be credited to the police and indirectly, the Home Ministry.

@Tigerbomb

I agree with ya on that man... Screw the government, and the cops overreacted, deploying FRU, riot police and shit... As if its gonna be some kinda riot going on... The people just want to be heard, but as we all know, the people's cries will all land on the government's deaf ears.
