"Firefox on Steriods..."
Wanna speed up Firefox until it becomes a fox on fire?

Check this out...

Prelimary tests on Firefox (Mac OS X) really shows a jump in speed. Of course, a bug revealed itself. When scrolling upwards, the screen that you were looking at becomes 'stuck'. Click a new link, and it disappears. But the problem may return.

Still confirming.

In the meantime, go turn Firefox into Firefox + TURBO...

Hollud. Simply, horse.

It's not a bug as much as an unforeseen consequence of changing the browser settings, methinks.

Anyways, things seem to run pretty fine after that little config trick, and I might try it with the broadband PC at home. Perhaps the bandwidth-split won't be as noticable as dialup. It is a good idea, considering how a lot of us are chronic multi-tasking browsers. Heh.

I'll be spending some time on the dialup, though, to find out what the optimum number of maximum "pipelines" is without bogging down the connection. Feels like danged KaZaa, innit?

I *heart* parallelised computerisation. ^_^

[ Proceed calmly. ]
